STARWARD BOUND

This is a listing of club activities open to the general public. Other club activities, such as our special interest group (SIG) meetings, are open only to members and invited guests. These include the Gaming SIG, Science Fiction & Stuff SIG, the Movie SIG, and the Mystery Reader's SIG. Exact times and locations of these events are listed in the club newsletter. • Business Meeting (New Location)

  Third Thursday of month, 7pm-8:30pm

STARWARD BOUND monthly business meeting is open to the public. Next meeting will be March 18th and April 15th at the new location, Kava House, 2495 Commons Blvd, near the Fairfield Commons Mall. For more information contact Starward Bound.




• Gaming SIG

  First Saturday of month (usually), 4pm-?
  Gaming SIG meets at the McFarland's home. For more information, contact Dave McFarland. Next meetings are Saturday, March 6th and April 3rd. We are currently playing a Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition campaign.

  
  

• SF & Stuff SIG

  Second or third Saturday of month (usually), 4pm-?
  SF & Stuff SIG meets at the location as announced in the club newsletter.  Next SF&Stuff SIG meetings are on Saturday, March 13th. Please bring something to share. For more information contact Starward Bound.

• Science Fiction and Fantasy Reader's SIG (New Time and Location)

  First Thursday of odd-numbered months (usually), 7:30pm-?
  SF and F Reader's SIG meets at Barnes & Noble - The Shoppes of Beavercreek, 2720 Towne Drive #200.Beavercreek. The next meeting is March 4th. The book to be reviewed is "Norse Code" by Greg Van Eekhout. For more information, contact David McFarland.

  
  

• Mystery Reader's SIG

  First Friday of even-numbered months (usually), 7pm-?
  Due to the bad weather on Feb. 5th the Mystery Reader's SIG will be moved to Friday, March 5th. The SIG will meet at Flying Tiger at 60 S. Broad St., Fairborn. The book to be reviewed is "Heat Wave" by Richard Castle. Yes, that "Castle" of the ABC's TV show of the same name. For more information, contact Starward Bound
